After a memorable 28th birthday yuvraj , he scored 60 runs off 25 balls, and helped team India to reach the immense 206 runs in chase. this is highest total chased by any team in this version. But this performance can’t able restore his place as a skipper, source say that kumar sangakkara replace southpaw yuvraj as skipper of kings XI Punjab in Indian premier league. It known to everyone that this may not impress city fan base concept in India. It’s just a another team in block to go through phase and inclusion of foreign player as a skipper to lead a side in IPL.
Tom Moody coach of Kings XI Punjab had recently expressed his unhappiness to the team owners about Yuvraj's attitude, uttering yuvi constantly neglecting the team management's advice. Reports say, the team management is thoughts of replacing Yuvraj with Kumar Sangakkara.
Yuvi had lead punjab Kings in the first two season of the Indian Premier League. While Kings XI showed there temperament with getting into the semifinals in the first season, but in the second edition they put all effort to finish with fifth position.
Sangakkara Sri Lanka captain is playing down for the development. When people inquire him replied he has got plenty of thing on his shoulder this would be additional burden.
In fact, Sangakkara praised Yuvraj a lot. "He is a very good captain and I enjoyed playing under his leadership in the IPL," he said. But the left-hander maintained that he had no idea about Yuvraj's sacking. "I haven't heard anything of this sort", he relieved.
