After the T20 World cup in 2007 which has changed the script (i.e, underdogs also have a fair amount of changes to win a ICC event)Indians who have started all these in inaugural edition in T20 world cup, when they beat Pakistan in finals of the T20 WORLD CUP, Indians and pakistani’s entered into the event as a underdogs.

It continued in 2009 as well, with a surprise finals between the srilankan’s and pakistani’s . This makes a boom to cricket in srilanka and Pakistan too.After a terrorist attack against srilankan team. this is their first ever ournament ,before this series srilanka defeated by Indians with 4-1 & 3-2 margins And Pakistani also entered into tournament with a defeat against Australians But this never mean they are going out of tournament in begin stage itself. Pakistan clinched the trophy at the end.

Now it’s time for history to repeat again :-

Australia and Newzealand are in ICC champions Trophy 09 finals.Before this tournament newzealand entered into tournament as a team which lost bilateral series against India,and tri series against India,srilanka,which not even a single test or ODI. But now it entered into the finals of champions trophy.In the other end, Australian team is struggling with their new team against southafrica, newzealand, but they did reasonably well. They won England considerable well with margin 6-1.Now they also in finals of the champions trophy.

Mahela is like a roaring lion in srilankan cricket. Always shown his excellent temperament, one of the best captain in srilankan cricket. He has and usual record many people won’t know, that is he is the second batsman in test arena to have 19 century in his home country. Are you wondering about the player who is first in this track? It is none other than Hayden from Australian fraternity. He has scored 21 century in his home country. And one more thing about the mahela is that he has scored 8 century at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground. Obvious he is the second in this fashion leading him is Sir Donald Bradman he has scored 9 century at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Whenever Srilankan team in trouble he stood up wins matches for them. To be clear his average is 64 as captain can u imagine this, So come on mahela we are waiting see that you cross both record.

Daniel Vettori one of my favourite player, I am happy to find that he has join elite clubs of all rounder recent that is one is player who has score 3000 test runs and 300 test wickets in international arena. To my knowledge there are only eight such player who had score the runs and take wickets across the line of mark. There are Shane Warne, Kapil Dev, Sir RJ Hadlee, Shaun Pollock, IT Botham, Imran Khan and Chaminda Vaas final come Vettori. Vettori, he is a really veteran in Kiwis side. This is not an easy task to achieve but still only few have across the mark, we need salute for there pride.
